I am a radio broadcaster and author who spent her childhood wanting to be a farming veterinarian. When I realized that wasn’t going to happen, my thoughts turned towards other careers - advertising, diplomat, army general, even “businesswoman” - but never to writing (or radio), despite practically growing up in the library next to my school.

 

I never once thought I could be one of the names you see on the cover of a book. In my world, which is filled with bankers, engineers, and doctors, only the brave write. I have never been called brave.

 

But as the years passed and I kept dreaming and reading, I finally started writing; at first in secret, then in 2016 I took the plunge and submitted my work to a publisher. The rest is history!
